Raimondo who recently launched a jobs advertising campaign with U.S. Senator Jack Reed, responded to the endorsement with a message of job creation.
“I’m running for governor because Rhode Islanders are struggling and I will enact a bold, comprehensive plan to create thousands of good jobs,” said Gina. “I am honored to have the support of the men and women of the Carpenters Local 94. I will be a governor who invests in infrastructure and job creation to position Rhode Island for long-term growth.”
Rhode Island remains the nation’s third highest unemployment state in the country.
