“We are confident that Gina will help get people back to work,” said David Palmisciano, President of Carpenters, Local 94 in the release. “With Gina as governor, we’re looking forward to seeing cranes in the sky and jobs coming back to this state. She has a clear strategy to turn around Rhode Island’s economy and she has the experience to get it done. Gina will be a jobs governor who understands what it takes to rebuild the middle class.”
Raimondo who recently launched a jobs advertising campaign with U.S. Senator Jack Reed, responded to the endorsement with a message of job creation.
“I’m running for governor because Rhode Islanders are struggling and I will enact a bold, comprehensive plan to create thousands of good jobs,” said Gina. “I am honored to have the support of the men and women of the Carpenters Local 94. I will be a governor who invests in infrastructure and job creation to position Rhode Island for long-term growth.”
