Boston- The National Weather Service (NWS) Boston/Taunton office issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook on Wednesday, predicting frigid temperatures and wind chills through the weekend.
EARLY FRIDAY MORNING INTO SATURDAY MORNING…BITTERLY COLD WIND CHILLS ANTICIPATED ESPECIALLY ACROSS THE HIGH TERRAIN. WIND CHILL ADVISORIES WILL LIKELY BE NEEDED.
Low-end snowfalls were predicted for Thursday into Friday for Southeastern Massachusetts, with Saturday to Sunday forecasting calling for a moderate risk of a significant plowable snow storm late Saturday into Sunday. The possibility of strong winds and minor coastal flooding accompany the late weekend forecast.
The outlook was extended for Northern Connecticut, all of Massachusetts except Berkshire county, Northern and Southern Rhode Island.
